Camia Tonge - New York Metro Area District Representative 

Camia Tonge is a graduate of LaGuardia Community College Veterinary Technology program. She worked in general practice for many years with a passion for client education and training before moving on to specialty medicine. She continued her passion for learning and found her passion in small internal medicine. She achieved her Veterinary technician specialty (VTS) in Small Animal Internal Medicine (SAIM) in 2017. She currently works as a veterinary clinical educator merging her SAIM passion and her love for training, education, and mentorship. She was recently nominated to the Executive Board of the  Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians where she will be serving as the secretary and treasurer. In her free time and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her dog, Mr. Pupcake.
